Arshavin for Major European Club

Ramos and Real Madrid still interested in Adnrei Arshavin

Zenit St Petersburg manager Dick Advocaat says Andrei Arshavin is "too good" for Spurs and Rangers.

A number of clubs are still interested in Arshavin despite the difficulty of getting Zenit to agree to a transfer fee.

Advocaat said recently to the Daily Mirror: "As a manager I would like Arshavin to stay but as a person I realise that he deserves more. But Andrei is too good for Spurs or Rangers.

For me, it's obvious Zenit must let him go. I'm sure that as soon as he joins one of the European giants there will be no problems with his motivation.

In fact, he'll probably do even better than he did here."

With Juande Ramos now in charge at Real Madrid he is probably pleased he didn’t sign Arshavin while he was manager at Spurs, as he can now sign him for Real Madrid.
